Verizon Wireless Opens News Communications Store in Rapid City, South Dakota, To Better Serve Area Consumers

RAPID CITY, SD — Verizon Wireless announced it is opening a new Communications Store on Tuesday, August 3, at 1612 Eglin St., Suite 300 in Rushmore Crossings shopping center in Rapid City.

The new 2,037-square-foot store will better serve the company’s growing customer base and enhance the overall customer experience by providing more space for consumers to shop the latest devices and services, including smartphones such as the DROID X by Motorola.

Tim Krohn has been named retail store manager for the new Verizon Wireless Communications Store in Rapid City. Krohn has been with Verizon Wireless for more then five years and most recently served as float manager for the district after previously managing the company’s kiosk at Rushmore Mall.

The following employees also have been named to positions in the Rapid City store: Alison Gilleland and Jason Tripp, assistant retail store managers; Sam Black, Tiffany Carey, Kasi Goodnick, Genevieve Griffith, Rebecca Janklow, Damon Larson, Tyler Larson, Megan Maletta and Duwana Twobulls, retail sales representatives; and Nicholas Baker, customer service representative.

The store is one of four Verizon Wireless company-owned Communications Stores in South Dakota. Store hours are Monday though Friday 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
