Far Eastone Telecommunications (FET) looks to be tightening its relationship with Acer by publicly stating during a recent press event that it will distribute a tablet PC and six-inch e-book reader by the notebook vendor before the end of the year.
FET began selling Acer smartphones in October of 2009, and has since introduced a second smartphone in July and a third handset device is scheduled for September. Both phones are based on the Android operating system.
