Demonstration of the new Camera Recognizer feature for our Pleco Chinese Dictionary software ( http://www.pleco.com/pleco2ip.html ), which allows you to instantly look up words simply by pointing your iPhone's camera at them. This should be coming as a (not too expensive) paid add-on for the next major version of Pleco (2.2), hopefully out in September.
This works best on the iPhone 4, but should work pretty well on the 3GS as well (as long as it's been upgraded to iOS 4), and if the rumors about Apple's next iPod Touch model including a built-in camera are true we're hopeful that it would work on that as well.
