Snapshot and video shows Android 2.1 handset with 4.1-inch display
Looks like the Dell Streak wasn't a one off. The well-received handset is set to be joined by another Android smartphone, going by the name of the Dell Thunder.
It's been rumoured for some time, but only now is hard evidence coming to the fore. By 'hard evidence' we mean pictures and video, both of which has been dug up by Engadget.
According to the site, the phone currently runs Android 2.1 (although that could change before launch) and packs an 8-megapizxel camera with LED flash, as well as the capability to shoot 720p HD video. There's also a removable 1,400mAh battery and a 4.1-inch display, believed to be of the OLED variety, if rumours are true.
If all that gets your pulse racing, there's more. Yes, that video. Not the most exciting thing you'll see no your computer screen, but if you want an idea of shape and proportions, along with a ' slightly bored' voiceover, check it out. As for the release date, well later this year looks about right.
