Chunghwa Telecom profit tops NT$4 billion in July

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) on August 10 reported unaudited net profit of NT$4.052 billion (US$126 million) for July 2010, resulting in January-July net earnings per share (EPS) of NT$3.00.

CHT had 1.89 million FTTx subscribers and 350,000 ADSL subscribers at download speeds of 8Mbps or above as of the end of July, the company indicated.

Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) also released their financial figures for July.
