The space expansion epoch began in the year 2057 A.D. The invention of the sub light engine made intergalactic flight possible. But the voyage from one star to another still takes tens or even hundreds of years which is why it takes millenniums for mankind to settle each galaxy. You are still reading? Ok. Many of the isolated worlds deteriorated over the years and people reverted to a feudal society and almost all technologies have been lost forever.
Only 7 planets managed to keep the knowledge of their predecessors. In 5074 A.D., Scientists from one of the 7 technologically advanced planets invented space teleportation. The sophisticated planets began to occupy the backward worlds and create unions. The intersellar wars era thus began. In the course of time there were 7 large clans, which constantly wagged war for the remaining "wild" planets. Seas of blood have been spilled and hundreds of planets collapsed, before mankind realized where this road leads.
In 5158 A.D., the council of seven clans created the general law of revival. The general law of revival grants the population of the "wild" planets the right to decide which clan to join. Before the wild planets decide, their technology and society must be modernized so they can realize space flight. While the modernization process is underway, it is forbidden to invade the surface of the planet and suppress the good will of its people.
Each clan can send only one "Mentor" to be a representative on the "wild" planet. The Mentor is authorized to introduce new technologies and engage in local wars. Your main task is to help your tribe occupy the most territory. The most advanced and populous tribe will control the planet's destiny.
Thus the new era has began - The Era of Revival
